Welcome to the 2018 PSPL Coaches Education Symposium!
PSPL League Director and United Soccer Coaches instructor Erik Oman and United Soccer Coaches Vince Ganzberg headline this year's coaches symposium at Starfire Sports in Tukwila. This year's overall theme: "Building Techniques and Game Concepts Together."
University of Washington's Women's Head Soccer Coach and current United Soccer Coaches President Lesle Gallimore will be keynote speaker on Friday, June 1, at 7:30 pm @ Starfire. Gallimore will address the "State of Youth Soccer Development in the United States."
PSPL Coaching Symposium 2018 details:

Oman and Ganzberg will share their insights on how to intergrate technical and tactical training elements in three on-field coaching education sessions that will cover different principles of play. PSPL Surf Academy players will serve as demonstration teams.

The coaching symposium is open to all soccer coaches seeking to keep current with latest coaching theories and is strongly urged for all PSPL coaches and coaching directors - whether competitive or recreational.

Vince Ganzberg Bio
The United Soccer Coaches has named Vince Ganzberg as Education Content Coordinator, a newly created position to develop in-person and online coaching education curriculum and content. Ganzberg will continue to serve as a National Staff Instructor.
Ganzberg has dedicated more than 25 years to coaching at many levels. He was a high school coach for both boys and girls teams for 15 years, and also coached the women’s team at his alma mater, Bethel College (Ind.).
Ganzberg also spent 10 years as the state director of coaching for Indiana Soccer, and currently serves as an education consultant for the Indy Premier Soccer Club.
He has earned the NSCAA Premier Diploma, the USSF “A” License, the US Youth Soccer National Youth License, and a Certified Teacher’s License in Business Education.
Ganzberg graduated from Bethel College in 1989 with a degree in business education. While there, he was a four-year letter winner and three-time captain on the soccer team. Ganzberg was also named the team’s MVP four times and NAIA Honorable Mention All-American in 1987.
He was named to the NAIA All-District Team three times (’86, ’87, ’88) and the NCCAA All-District Team four times (’85, ’86, ’87, ’88).
He is considered to be one of the best soccer midfielders in the history of Bethel College athletics. He is a member of the Bethel College (2008) and Indiana Soccer (2015) Halls of Fame.
